Our Programs

Live Events

We present climate-themed live events in our hometown of New York City in partnership with individuals and organizations with whom we share values and interests. These events range from theatrical presentations to panels with experts to national convenings, and engage artists and audiences that reflect the diversity of the city.

Climate Change Theatre Action

A biennial initiative, Climate Change Theatre Action (CCTA) is a distributed festival of short plays about the climate crisis that coincide with the United Nations Climate Conferences. CCTA seeks to foster non-partisan local and global conversations about climate change and encourage people to take action within their community.

Workshops

We offer workshops of different lengths – ranging from one hour to five days – in person and online, focused on the intersection of the arts and the climate crisis. Some workshops serve specific populations, like residents of a neighborhood or students at a university, and others are open to participants anywhere.

Artists & Climate Change

Through the publication of essays, interviews, and editorials, for over ten years the platform Artists & Climate Change created community and promoted the inclusion of the arts in the global climate change conversation. As of 2023, A&CC is no longer active but it continues to exist as a public archive.
